Dr Rose Schuddinh is a female GP in Wembley, WA. B.Sc (Physiotherapy), MBBS, FRACGP, DCH, CWH
My medical training and GP career has taken me all over Australia, and I’m grateful for the experiences each place has offered. After years away, I’m very glad to be back home in Perth and working at Grantham House.
I originally trained and worked as a physiotherapist in Perth before moving to Tasmania to study medicine, then spent my intern year in Sydney. I returned to Perth to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Women’s Health, the Diploma of Child Health and my GP training. More recently, my family and I lived in Katherine, NT, where I was privileged to work at Wurli Wurlinjang Aboriginal Health Service for four years.
Since coming back to Perth, I’ve worked at Luma Women’s Health Clinic, gaining further experience in peri/menopause care, contraception (including Implanon and both hormonal and copper IUDs), unplanned pregnancy care and mental health. I have a special interest in women’s and children’s health as well as chronic disease, but I enjoy the full breadth of general practice and especially value building long-term relationships with patients and families.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and young son, and you’ll often find me running, camping or swimming in the ocean.
